Mom decided to try me on rice cereal before she went back to work. At first I thought it was interesting, and was able to swallow most of it. However, it was a little too runny and I was not consuming it fast enough for my tastes. So, after just a little while, I decided I was too hungry to bother with this spoon thing and I cried for regular milk.
Luckily, mom learned from her mistakes and the next day she laid me back a little more and made the food a little more pasty. She also learned that I can't be too hungry when we feed, because it takes a long time. I really like to help her by holding the spoon with her. Sometimes this causes more food on my face than in my mouth.
