New Trick

I have a new trick. On March 2nd, I began climbing on things. The first climb was over our couch. Mom and dad are a little worried as to what I might want to climb next.

Sick

Sorry I was slacking on the blog for awhile! For several weeks in February and March, our family was sick. We laid low and tried to recover. We spent a lot of time in bed and cuddling. Here I am giving dad some love and comfort.

Bay Area Discovery Museum

In February, we took my girlfriend Violet and her mommy to the Bay Area Discovery Museum. It was so great. Here are some picture to help show you some of our day.
Violet and I in the car, totally unaware as to what we are both about to experience.

We met cousins Declan and Weston down at the museum since they live so close. It was lots of fun seeing them.
Declan has been coming to the museum for a while, so he really knew the ropes.
He even took some time to draw with me. I really love to draw and color!
Next, we went to the art room, where Violet and I practiced making sculptures out of magnetic blocks.

Check out this one!!
Then, we took turns dumping another type of blocks. After a small bite to eat, we explored the outdoor area. Here I am playing on a real boat they have in the play area. There were many older kids running around on it, but I was very curious to see what they were up to. I didn't join in, but I had a great time walking the perimeter and watching them.
Next, we went to the rock yard and played. This was definately my favorite part of the museum. I was so into what I was doing, that I cried when mom tried to take me away. By the end, I had just started perfecting my digging skills.

Although it was getting close to nap time, we stopped by the Tot Spot one more time to play a little music together.

We also got a chance to briefly see the room with lots of trains. There is so much more to do and see here that I can't wait to return. Thank you, Violet and Becca, for coming with me and mom!

Oliviah's 1st Birthday

Daddies, the birthday girl and me:
Hanging out with friends on the stairway:
Getting smooches from my first girlfriend ever, Angela:
Learning about the miracle of bubbles:
Trying to blow some myself:
Daddy helping us out with the bubble shower:
The Harrises brought snow from Middletown and everyone played in it. I thought it was a bit cold to handle, so I inspected the lighting situation outside:

Spinning

I love to spin around and around. Unfortunately, I fall down a bit afterwards.

Making Pizza

Mom has begun letting me help her in the kitchen. My first real cooking experience was making pizza a couple of weeks ago. I helped mom spread out the sauce and cheese on the pizza dough (I even snuck a little in my mouth).

Then, she gave me a cutting board and a butter knife, with which I cut up some of the mushrooms for the pizza. Next, we placed them on the pizza.

The final ingredient was the salami. Check out the video for how to place it on correctly:

Finally, we sat together and ate the pizza. It was super yummy and we were all very happy with how it turned out.

I decided I liked the pizza so much that I ate the toppings off and left the crust behind: Here I am asking for another favorite food, guacamole. I call it "Moole"
