It's another boy!

Early October, we went in for our big ultrasound.  Tanyon was first and foremost thrilled that there was a Dora the Explorer book in the waiting room.  Then, on our way to the room, we continued to explain that we were going to be getting a picture of the baby in mommy's tummy.  Tanyon is very familiar with ultrasound machines.  He has to get an ultrasound of his kidneys every 6 months to a year. So, of course, he wanted to clarify that it was mommy getting a picture of her tummy, not Tanyon.  Once that was cleared up, and I told him it did not hurt, he relaxed and watched the show.  The tech said everything looked good and our due date looked accurate (Feb. 27th).  Then, she told us to keep his clothes, because we would be able to reuse them for our new little guy.  That's right, another boy!  We were thrilled. For months, Tanyon has been saying he "needs a baby sister," so I think the big challenge will be to convince him that a baby brother will be cool too.
