I learned to get up the stairs on my own in one day. Getting brave enough to slide down by myself took a little bit longer, but now I can't imagine ever needing help. I can even slide down large slides at the park on my own now.

Mom seems to think I am not too young for chores. She has me putting away my toys, which is a fun game where I collect all of the things on the floor and throw them in a bin. I also like to put dirty clothes in the laundry bin. Of course, I help mom and dad water the plants, weed the garden and pick vegetables. However, my favorite chore of all is sweeping the floor. Anytime I see the broom, I get to work...
This is a little habit I learned from Grandpa Miller. When you get fruit, especially right off the tree, you must wipe it off on your shirt asap. You can't be too careful and cleanliness is very important. Here I am applying the lessons I learned in Healdsburg to the blueberries my mom just served me.
