Play Mat Fun

I discovered how much fun it can be when you kick the play math while you are under it! It makes the toys shake way more than when I just hit at them with my hand.

New Monster Bibs!

Aunt April is obsessed with getting me all things monsters and aliens. Here I am trying out my new bibs. They really couldn't have come at a better time. I have began dribbling more and more food down my chin and on to my clothes. Luckily, these new bad boys are snug around the neck and save mom from doing more laundry.

My friend Violet

Here I am with my friend Violet. She is about a month younger than I am and is super sweet. Sometimes we walk around Spring Lake together. She is not much of a talker yet, but I can tell she likes me. This last visit, she let me hold her hand a little and grab her face! Can't wait to see her again tomorrow...

Learning to Read

A couple of Sundays ago, my Aunt April came up to spend some time with me and help mom scrapbook my first year so far. We had a great time interacting. She likes to change my diaper, because then my belly is exposed and she can kiss it. It makes me laugh when she does that! She also helps mom and dad out by watching me while they get things done around the house. One night, mom came into the room and found us reading together before bed. Mom snuck the photo while I was busy listening to the story...

A day of new food experiences

On a Friday in the end of August, mom and I went up to Middletown to spend some time with Grandpa Matt. I dressed up in my cowboy shirt for a day on the farm. We went to breakfast at the Cowpoke Cafe and Grandpa got to feed me for the first time. He also gave me a little crust of bread to suck on, which was really good. However, he then dipped it in maple syrup, which made it irresitable. After breakfast, we went for a walk around town and hung out at Grandpa's house. I took a nap while my mom sorted photos with Grandpa. On the way home, we stopped by Teri's work and met everyone in her office. Then, everyone came back to my house for a little bit. Teri was eating a pear, which I really wanted to get my hands on...so, I just grabbed it and put it in my mouth. At first I wasn't sure about it, but then I couldn't get enough.

Rudy's Quincenero

Cumpleanos Feliz, Rudy!

Aunt Sheila's dog, Rudy, turned 15 years old this last month. Mom made party hats for everyone and gift baggies for all the dogs that attended (they had dog treats in them). We had a great time celebrating at Grandma and Grandpa Miller's house. There was pizza and dessert for the grown-ups and I wore my doggy outfit for the occasion. It was nice to see Uncle Kevin before he left for Southern Calfornia and I got to see Uncle Elmer and Aunt Lee for the first time!

Family Reunion

On August 15th, my parents took me to my first Malvino Family Reunion. It was at Johnny and Rosina's Ranch in Half Moon Bay. I got to visit with a ton of people and it was a beautiful day. Coincidentally, it was my 5 month birthday as well! Here I am below with my Great-Aunt Marisa.
